Full story on TechCrunch
We're thrilled to announce that CVector has closed an oversubscribed $5 million seed round led by Powerhouse Ventures, with participation from Fusion Fund, Hitachi Ventures, Myriad Venture Partners, and Schematic Ventures. This funding lets us accelerate hiring across sales and product development and go deeper with the customers already scaling their deployments with us.

From pre-seed to production
Since our founding in November 2024 by industry veterans from Shell and CERN, CVector has grown from an early-stage idea into a platform already deployed across public utilities, advanced manufacturing, and chemical production. Our customers include ATEK Metals, recognized for operational excellence in complex metals processing, and Ammobia, which is reinventing centuries-old production processes in the chemicals space.
That real-world deployment has sharpened our focus. CVector's AI-native platform delivers real-time recommendations that account for dynamic feedstocks, operating metrics, and shifting customer demand, using high-resolution supply chain, control system, and market data to generate prioritized, economically grounded recommendations tailored to each facility's specific operating parameters.
"CVector's AI native solution provides real time recommendations in the context of dynamic feedstocks, operating metrics, and customer demand. CVector sharpens decision-making around optimal production, ensuring every action is grounded in improved economics."
Richard Zhang, CVector’s co-founder and CEO
Why investors are leaning in
Powerhouse Ventures led the round, and Founder and Managing Partner Emily Kirsch pointed to what sets CVector apart in an increasingly crowded industrial AI landscape:
"Contextualized industrial data may be the fuel for AI, but CVector is the only solution which addresses the additional issues of economic optimization and accessibility by end users. Addressing all three issues is required in the new generation of AI industrial software for improved decision making in production environments."
Built to learn from the people who run the plant
One of the things we're most proud of is how CVector adapts to the teams using it. Our platform learns from operator behavior, tailoring recommendations to how teams actually work, not a generic best-practice template. The result is faster root-cause analysis, smarter troubleshooting, and more proactive system planning, all grounded in long-term historical trends and physical system understanding.
We see this as the next generation of human-AI collaboration in industrial settings: hybrid solutions that augment operators and engineers with AI-powered recommendations precisely targeted to drive measurable operational and economic improvements, not replace the expertise already in the room.
What's next
With this round, we're growing our sales and product teams and doubling down on helping our current customers scale their deployments successfully. If you're running feedstock-sensitive or margin-sensitive operations and want to see what real-time economic optimization looks like on your floor, we'd love to talk.
